Change of ownership in SwedPaper AB
SwedPaper AB has a new majority owner, the Private Equity fund Orlando Capital V.
SwedPaper, based in Gävle, is a Swedish producer of white sack and kraft paper with a capacity of 70,000 tons per year. The products are sold to customers in 30+ countries and the company’s turnover was SEK 770m in 2023.
Since the separation from Korsnäs AB in 2013, SwedPaper has successfully established itself as a strong and independent player in white sack and kraft paper. The intention of the new main owner is to remain on the company’s strategic path and, over the coming years, try to take the next step in further strengthening the competitiveness of SwedPaper as a fast-paced and customer-oriented supplier of white sack and kraft paper.
